Wireless network connection stuck on validating identity
Even after scrolling to my OS, there are still quite a few options and I want to be sure I'm getting the right one. Weird, cause it sure *looks* like a registry script... I just installed a new Linksys ADSL modem/router at home.
AT THIS POINT I believe I have got it fairly clean; at any rate, Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware, and Adware Away Antimalware have all run several deep scans apiece using current databases and they've all come up spick and span. It detects the wireless network and attempts to connect but is stuck ceaselessly on "Acquiring Network Address".
First, click on the wireless icon in your taskbar and under Related Tasks, choose Change advanced settings.
Now click on the Wireless Networks tab and select the network in the list at the bottom.
I ran the TFC Cleaner; it deleted some 900 mb of stuff but no change other than that. OK - - -Not 100% unusual response, usually the "RPC" is closer to each other Try this......
First make sure that you have a Restore point set prior to opening any registry items ........ Start Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
